The Hartford Memorial Middle School (HMMS) offers a variety of activities for all students. Students can elect to be a member of student council or join the annual spring musical. The middle school also offers a variety of clubs that are offered every year, such as glee, jazz band, the rock climbing club, and TSA (Technology Student Association). Additionally, HMMS also offers a chance for students to create their own after school clubs that are supervised by a teacher in the building. These student led clubs change each year and are based on student interests. Examples of clubs students created in recent years are dungeons and dragons, baking, drama, young artists of HMMS, and many others.
